April Guest Designer and a New Full-Time DT Member

We are pleased and blessed to announce two great additions to our Design Team.  First, we would like to introduce you all to Kathy Roney who will be gracing us with her wonderful God-given talents during the Month of April.  Here is a little bit about Kathy that she has chosen to share with us:

I  live in Southern California with my husband and our two sons, ages 13 and 11, and our Golden Retriever. I am a stay-at-home mom, and have been blessed to be able to be home for my sons, and do what I absolutely love! I have been creating things with my hands since I was very little, and have done just about every craft you can think of. The past 3-4 years I have been mainly doing paper crafting.  One of my favorite things to do in my craft room is to color images with my Prismacolor Pencils and mineral spirits to make them come “alive”.  I currently design for Heartfelt Creations, Our Daily Bread Designs, and CottageCutz.    I love the Lord, and I am so thankful for the talents He has blessed me with.  Being able to use them to Glorify Him and encourage others for Him is such a blessing and brings me incredible joy! 

I almost always participate in the challenges here at Word Art Wednesday, and I’m so excited to be a Guest Designer this month for them!  Thank you, Karen, for having me!

And next, we have a new Full-Time Design Team Member starting this month, and that is the very sweet and talented Lori Ulrich of PaperCrafts by Saints Rule.  When Lori was first asked to become part of the Design Team, she took time to pray about it and seek God's direction in her decision, and we're VERY excited that He lead her to accept our invitation!  Lori is excited to join our team, and here is a little bit about herself that she has chosen to share with you all:

My name is Lori Ulrich.  And I have worked with some sort of paper craft for 15 years!  I began with scrapbooks and eventually moved to stamping.  Lately, I find myself working with more altered projects. 

My “daytime” job involves managing the Human Resource function of a local utility.  I have always loved working with people, and have done so in some capacity for the past 24 years. 

My husband and I reside in the Bluegrass State where we have a small farm.  Currently we have 31 head of Katahdin sheep, four St. Bernards (hence Saintsrule), three English Shepherds, and one retired Thoroughbred, Ally, who thinks she rules the roost!  Life can be interesting with such a menagerie!

I am so excited to be working Karen and the rest of the Design Team.  Each and every one has been such a blessing to me in the last year!  And speaking of blessings....I found my Lord and Savior at the age of 12.  And without Him, I would be nothing.  He strengthens me, loves me and carries me when times get tough.  I am reminded of these blessings in my life each and every day, and the sacrifices He made for us.  I look forward to getting to know all of you!  Thank you for taking a moment to visit with me, and God bless you!
