This week we are using a scripture regarding prosperity and health. The first thing that comes to mind for us here at Word Art Wednesday is our dear friend and fellow Design Team Member, Paula Pike. Some of you may have noticed that Paula has not been able to share her beautiful art with us here for a bit. Paula is fighting serious illness. We've missed her art and her sweet fellowship. But what really stands out to us is that there is a void in our hearts when she is unable to share her art with us. There is such a deep beauty to her art that allows you to peek into her heart, and to see her love for her precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Through our challenge blog, we have met several others who are courageously fighting this battle. We know that God has brought each of these individuals into our lives for a reason. It's to help each of us grow as Christians, and to show compassion for others. Whether it's a Deisgn Team Member, one of our sponsors or their family members, or a fellow crafter/blog participant, it truly weighs on our hearts to know that our friends are having a difficult time. The blessing that comes through this, however, is the gift of prayer. We are able to pray for others, trusting and knowing that God hears and answers our prayers. We want you to know that when you share something with us, and we say "we are praying for you". . . .we REALLY mean it! We lift you up in prayer, and we are SO grateful to God for allowing us to bless each other through this wonderful and powerful gift called PRAYER.
So, whatever your struggle is - whether physical, spiritual, emotional or otherwise, we really do care about you, and we are praying for you. If you are able, we would ask that you please lift up Paula in prayer, and ALL THOSE who are struggling. Just as we pray for you. What a beautiful gift. Let's make it our goal this week to encourage others through our art, as well as in our words and actions.

As always, feel free to save this free weekly word/scripture art to your computer. You are welcome to use it in your entry, but not required to do so. As long as you use an encouraging or uplifting sentiment on your project, that is fine. You can also link more than one project each week (up to 5). The more, the merrier. We just hope that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you each week. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".
