It's
time for another new challenge here at Word Art Wednesday. When you link up your art here at our blog, it's not like just any other challenge. We want you to know that we pray for you by name when you share your art with us. So many of you share your hearts and thoughts in your blog posts, and it means so much to have a little peek into your lives. We believe that God has connected us for a reason, and that reason is to encourage one another and pray for one another. We appreciate you so much, and thank you for playing along in our challenges. We hope you will invite your friends to join us as well. The more, the merrier.
This week's free
scripture/word art is Psalm 62:8 which speaks of TRUST. As humans, we naturally tend to trust in the things we can see; the things that we know, and the things that make us comfortable in life. Yet, in all honesty, our greatest blessings in life come when we place our trust in God. We really have no control over the circumstances of life, but He does. He is our refuge, and will bless us when we pour out our hearts and completely place our trust in Him. Whatever you have going on in your life right now - even those things which may seem impossible to handle.....give them to Him and TRUST that He will be your refuge - your hiding place and source of strength.
As always, feel free
to save the free word art to your computer. You are welcome to use it in your
entry, but not required to do so. As long as you use an encouraging or uplifting
sentiment on your project, that is fine. We just hope that God's Word will be a
blessing to you each week.
For another fun Christian
Challenge, stop by and say hello to Abby at Abby's Scripture Thursday Challenge, she would
be delighted to have you. Abby offers free clip art, a give-away each week,
and words of encouragement on her blog. She would also love to have you share
your scripture projects with her.
