Challenge #28, and Another Lucky Winner!

It's time for a new challenge here at Word Art Wednesday.  We were so blessed by all the beautiful entries in last week's challenge.  We absolutely LOVE to see the art you share with us, and we pray that our challenges and word art are a blessing to everyone who stops by each week.  We are grateful to God for each of you!

This week's free scripture/word art is 2 Timothy 1:7.  This last week, I had the opportunity to share this scripture with an unsaved friend of mine from High School.  Her sister is dying of cancer, and she shared with me that she "is afraid".  What a blessing to be able to open a conversation about salvation by telling her that this feeling of fear does not come from God; but rather, from the enemy.  When we place our trust in Him and what He did for us on the cross, we have NOTHING to fear - not even death.  I hope this verse will be a blessing to you this week.  We would love to hear what it means to you, or how it has blessed your life.

As always, feel free to save the free word art to your computer. You are welcome to use it in your entry, but not required to do so. As long as you use an encouraging or uplifting sentiment on your project, that is fine. We just hope that God's Word will be a blessing to you each week.
For another fun Christian Challenge, stop by and say hello to Abby at Abby's Scripture Thursday Challenge, she would be delighted to have you.   Abby offers free clip art, a give-away each week, and words of encouragement on her blog. She would also love to have you share your scripture projects with her.
Today's lucky random WINNER of a gift from

Karen, I look forward to Word Art Wednesday each week to see what new scripture you have for us, and to see all the beautiful things you and your team make. Your guest designer Stephanie has done a beautiful job with her card as have the others. I love the wall hanging you have made. I will link up this evening. Thanks for mentioning Scripture Thursday, and for promoting the word of God on your blog. ~ Abby

Hi Karen, and thank you for such a lovely comment on my blog! I'm glad you like my art. I very much appreciate your invitation to join the weekly challenge "Word Art Wednesday" especially as I have been thinking that my work needs to reflect my faith more than it does, but at the moment I am just about keeping my head above water with the projects I am doing. I am chronically sick and there are many days when I can do nothing at all. I shall certainly bear this lovely invitation in mind, and maybe as and when I am moved to create something, I'll join in! Meantime, I'll have a look at the contributions and see what it's all about!

Thanks again,

Shoshi

I'm so thrilled to be this weeks winner!!! Heart & Soul Rubber Stamps has long been one of my favorite companies, as my large collection of their stamps will testify. :) I'm excited to be adding more to my collection through my prize. Thanks so much.

How special to be able to share salvation and comfort with your friend, Karen. This weeks scripture is very dear to my heart. We have been going through some tough trials for months and many times the spirit of fear tries to take over. This verse reminds me that my spirit of fear doesn't come from God. That God gives me a spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Wow!!! What precious reminders in the midst of life's storms.

Enjoying the free digital scripteure every week...beautifully done! Inspiring challenges too! Thank you! I'm a little confused by the Mr. Linky not closing at the same time as the challenge ends. Could that be corrected?
