Hi there, I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving last week! All and all it was a good week for me. I am looking forward to Christmas and celebrating our Savior's birthday!
This week's winner is:
Irene from: All Occasions Cards, Papers and More!! Congratulations!
I have sent you an email Irene. Please let me know that you received it. Thanks!
The sponsor for this week is:
Her shop has the cutest altered images, so do take a minute to visit with her and look around because next week she will have a special gift for one lucky lady!
This week's verse is:
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31
At the bottom of the pages in my Bible it has notes and for this verse it shares:
Trusting in the Lord is the patient expectation that God will fulfill his promises in his Word and strengthen us to rise above life's difficulties.
So beautiful and am so thankful for my relationship with Him. Here's my art for this week.

I painted the sides and stamped all over. The heart was painted and glittered and I added some burnt umber around the outside of it. I also added some paint around the scripture as well. I sanded up the image of the eagle to give it more of a distressed look and spritzed it with walnut ink.
This piece is a reminder for me that no matter what tries to bring me down, if I put my trust in Him, I can rise up and glide right through it. Thank you Lord for always being here for me.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and I look forward to seeing your art this week!

Love it, you're work is always expressive. That's a very powerful scripture, so true and reassuring. Thanks for linking up to Scripture Thursday. ~ Abby
