Hi there, I hope your day is going well so far. The weather here is gray, dreary and humid. The air was turned on this morning so it's still not fall here. It teased us last week, hopefully soon the cooler weather will again grace us with its presence. Yes, I like the cooler weather, not to cold though. :o)
Today, I am excited about today, WAW has a new home and we have a few sponsors!! So exciting! If you aren't familiar with how this all works, there's a challenge guidelines link at the top to your left that will let you know all the details.
This week's sponsor is Sue from Heart and Soul Rubber Stamp Co. do take a minute to visit with her and browse through her online catalog because next Wednesday, the 23rd, I am going to use Random.org to pick one name and that lucky lady will receive a special gift from Sue! Please make sure you leave your email address when you add your art to Mr. Linky below so when I announce the winner I am able to give it to Sue so she can contact you, you also can contact her if your name is chosen. Thank you.

This week's Word Art is from Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will hold you up with my righteous right hand.
I have been going through some things and this verse has been helping me press through. Knowing that I can feel afraid but still do what I know God wants me to do because He is right beside me, He's not going to leave me and say deal with it yourself, He's going to walk me through what I'm afraid of and hold my hand every step of the way. Thank you Lord.
Here's my project for this week:
Here's my project for this week:
With this I cut a tag out of wood, glued my paper down as background, added my favorite color (robin's egg blue), stamped some texture down and used burnt umber paint around the edges. The image is Flourished Chickadee from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff collection. I spritzed the image with my homemade shimmer and walnut ink, added some paste around the edges, embedded some handmade pearls and inked around the edges of the scripture.
I look forward to seeing your art and sending one lady an extra special email next week!!

There is a lot to love about this tag starting with the verse! It is all gorgeous, but I am taking inspiration from the paste with the pearls embedded in it...so cool!
I absolutely love that tag. Your work never ceases to amaze me. ~ Abby
Such pretty colors!
Your tag is gorgeous! I love the shimmer. The verse you used is such a comfort when you're going through things in your life. Having the tag with that verse on it somewhere in your home would be a great visual reminder. I'm praying for you. Hugs!!!
