Welcome by for another fantastic challenge, everyone! We had a great challenge and a wonderful start to 2019, and we're SO glad that you've chosen to join the fun and play along. We always enjoy seeing your wonderful cards and creations. Let's see what's happening here at Word Art Wednesday.
Our word art scripture is Psalm 55:22 which says, Cast your burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved". This is not the only scripture in God's Word that tells us to "cast our burdens on him". In fact, God makes it very clear that He WANTS us to cast (throw) ALL our burdens on Him. He doesn't want us walking around scared and worried. He has agreed to do ALL our worrying and fretting for us. What a wonderful friend and righteous Redeemer we have in Jesus Christ...He not only has the ABILITY to fix our problems, but He also has the DESIRE to want to handle thing for us, and the POWER to change and fix things. God doesn't want us to be worried or stressed. Today is a great day to do what His word tells us and to simply.....CAST OUR BURDENS UPON THE LORD. We don't need to live with all the stress and drama, and He WANTS to help us. And truth is....our worrying does nothing to fix the problems, and He has the power and authority to fix what we trust with Him. We often wonder why God doesn't give us more. Are you trusting Him with EVERYTHING? He wants to (and can) help. Let this be the day when you truly cast it all on Jesus and watch things improve. Trusting is the first step.
As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Hi Karen, I added a couple entries on your link up. You and your designers do such a lovely job with their cards. You've had this site going for a long time now. Congratulations, I know it must take a lot of work, but you've got this wonderful team to work with. Thank you for the time you put into this ministry. ~ Abby
