Anything Goes #350-#351

Welcome, welcome!  We are SO glad you are here to play along with us.  This challenge is another opportunity for you to link up for the chance to win one of our two AWESOME prizes from our generous sponsors.  We love seeing your creations, and look forward to visiting your blogs.  Sadly, we recently had to say goodbye to some of our DT Members who needed to step down for personal reasons (life gets busy!!) so I'm looking to add 1-2 new DT Members.  If you're interested, please send me an email.   And with that.....let's get started with our challenge, shall we?

The word art for this challenge was created using Psalm 143:10 which says, "Teach me to do thy will; for Thou art my God: Thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness".  In this verse, God is telling us that it is always good to continue to learn and to grow.  The psalmist says, "teach me to do", which implies that he is open to learning and doing the perfect will of God.  No matter how far along in our spiritual journey we are, there is always much we can learn about doing His will as we grow closer to Him.  We must always remain open to His instruction, we need to read His Holy Word, and we need to learn how we achieve living in His perfect will for our individual lives.  We do this because, as the psalmist says, "Thou art my God".  If Jesus Christ is truly your God, you will desire to know Him more deeply, and to continue to learn His will.  The psalmist also says "thy spirit is good".  There is nothing we can learn from God that won't benefit us greatly.  We are never wasting our time by learning more and growing closer to Him.  After all, I plan to spend ETERNITY with Him.  In knowing that, wouldn't we want to know as much about Him as possible?  Our ultimate goal is to be "lead to the land of uprightness".....but along life's journey, we need to continually seek His will to help us live our lives with joy.  We each have our own individual and personal journey (with its struggles, setbacks, joys and tears); but we each need to ask God each day to help us learn.  Let's all strive to do our very best to never allow the enemy to get in our way of knowing God, seeking His will, living for Him, securing our salvation, and being "lead to the land of uprightness".

As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week, for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Bises.
