Welcome back to Word Art Wednesday! We're so glad you've stopped by and chosen to share your art with us. Thank you so much to all of you who shared your talents by linking up to our last challenge, and please know how grateful we are to have you share with us. I can't believe we had well over 400 entries. God has surely blessed and grown our blog since we first started, and we praise Him for providing us with such awesome talented participants, and fabulous sponsors. We have another great challenge for you this time, so let's get started.
The beautiful word art for this challenge is from 2 Corinthians 3:17, and it says "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty". Understanding the trinity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, isn't always easy. It takes faith and trust. But when we learn the all the aspects of the trinity (God the Father, Jesus Christ our Savior, and the Holy Spirit Comforter), and through faith accept all He has for us; we become more like Him, and can enjoy all He has for us. He wants us to know Him in His fullness - all parts of Him. It's important that we realize that all three are one in essence, but also recognize the distinct differences between them. This is a study of its own. What this verse is teaching us is that God really IS the Spirit, and when we have Him in our lives, we have liberty (freedom) from sin. We can come directly to Him, speak directly to Him, and enjoy His fellowship in a very personal way. Knowing all the parts of God brings great joy to the believer, and it is His desire that we know and understand all of Him (just as He knows all about us and loves us still).
As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

i love this scripture and font. this means more to me than you could know. Our Christian son is in prison and he feels a freedom given to him by the Lord that he never had when he was bound by secret sin. He is more open, confident and willing to share Christ in a way he never was when he was "free". Thankfully his incarceration will only be three years and we feel that is of the Lord also. All prayers and thoughts are appreciated. We never guessed this would be our lot or his.
ReplyDeleteInspiration abounds in every facet of this precious blog. Thank you for the Scripture, divine words, and beautiful crafty creations. You are a blessing and I am thankful for you!
